Join us September 20th near Omaha, Nebraska for a day dedicated to your writing. All genres and age ranges welcome. We will have structured or unstructured writing time to focus on whatever matters to you. Progress on your WIP. Revisions. Your website. Use this time for you.

There will be ample opportunity to connect with other writers. We intentionally keep the group smaller to allow for more connection and a cozier setting. 

Gain craft knowledge and inspiration from our wonderful retreat faculty. In the past we have had New York Times Bestselling, award-winning authors from the region speak about craft and their experience. Our 2025 faculty is Allison L. Bitz, the award-winning author of Three Things About Emmy Crawford and The Unstoppable Bridget Bloom (which won the 2024 Nebraska Book Award). Her YA contemporary romances tackle issues such as body positivity, chronic illness, and mental health.

We wanted to create an affordable writing retreat in the plains states available for all genres and age ranges of fiction writers.
